Indonesia Exceeds Gold Target at ASEAN Para Games Finale

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia wrapped up a strong final day at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games in Thailand on Sunday, January 25, 2026, with major medal contributions from para swimming, para cycling, and para athletics, pushing the national medal tally far beyond its initial target.
The Indonesian para swimming team delivered an outstanding performance on the final day, collecting seven gold medals, along with eight silver and three bronze medals, Antara reported.
Jendi Panggabean led the gold medal haul by winning the men’s 100-meter freestyle S9 in 1:02.41, followed by Januarti, who claimed gold in the men’s 100-meter freestyle S5 with a time of 1:15.75.
Additional gold medals came from Mutiara Cantik Harsanto in the women’s 50-meter breaststroke SB9 (41.48 seconds); Aris Wibawa in the men’s 50-meter breaststroke SB7 (42.70 seconds); Siti Aisyah in the women’s 100-meter backstroke S14 (1:10.28); and men’s 4x100-meter freestyle relay S1-S10, featuring Jendi Panggabean, Zaki Zulkarnain, Muhammad Gerry Pahker, and Abdil Majid Rahman, clocking 4:45.05.
Indonesia also secured multiple silver medals through Ramadhani Ubaidillah Amsyar Juba, Rino Saputra, Aji Iasadewa Satrianya, Lie Theradina Audria, Aimah Nor, Rahman Abdil Majid, and Mutiara Cantik Harsanto, among others. Bronze medals were earned by Pratama Meliana Ratih, Yuda Bayu Putra, and Simson Abraham Situmorang.
The Indonesian para cycling team contributed two gold medals on the final day in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Indonesia also collected two silver medals through Tifan Abid Alana and Saori Sufyan, as well as two bronze medals from Vanza Miftahul Jannah and Zulaika.
Overall, Indonesia finished para cycling with seven gold, five silver, and four bronze medals, with Nurfendi and Muhammad Fadli Imammuddin emerging as the most successful cyclists, each earning two gold medals.

Angin Reza Pramana Perangin secured gold in the men’s discus throw F43/F44 with a distance of 35.81 meters, as Indonesia also swept the silver and bronze in the event.
Gold medals were also claimed by Nomleni Alfin in the men’s 1,500 meters T20 (4:31.12), Ubaidillah Muhammad Dimas in the men’s long jump T11 (5.19 meters), Fauzi Ahmad in the men’s shot put F37, and Priyanti Lia in the women’s shot put F44 (9.30 meters).
Indonesia added a silver medal in the universal relay and a bronze medal through Aripin Jaenal in the men’s 800 meters T54.
With these results, Indonesia’s overall medal tally reached 134 gold, 143 silver, and 114 bronze medals, far exceeding the original target of 82 gold medals set for the Games. ***
