ICSEEA 2026 Fosters Sustainable Systems

RRI.CO.ID, South Tangerang: The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) will host The 13th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Engineering and Application (ICSEEA) 2026 on 3 - 4 February 2026 in South Tangerang. The event focuses on strengthening resilient transportation systems, accelerating clean energy transition, and advancing green manufacturing.

ICSEEA is an annual conference organized by BRIN through the Research Organization for Energy and Manufacturing (OREM). The forum brings together researchers, academicians, industry players, policymakers, and stakeholders to accelerate sustainable innovation from Indonesia for global systems development.

This year, ICSEEA 2026 carries the theme “Resilient Transportation and Clean Energy: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Systems.” The discussions are structured around three sub-themes: Resilient Transportation, Clean Energy, and Green Manufacturing, reflecting Indonesia’s strategic contribution to global sustainability efforts.

The Head of BRIN, Arif Satria, affirmed the strategic role of scientific forums in strengthening collaboration and innovation impact. He encouraged discussions to move beyond publications toward joint agendas and real-world implementation.

“Scientific forums like ICSEEA 2026 play a strategic role in strengthening research–industry–policy collaboration, and cross-sector synergy is key to resilient, efficient, and low-emission systems,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Research Organization for Energy and Manufacturing (OREM) at BRIN, Cuk Supriyadi Ali Nandar, said ICSEEA 2026 is positioned beyond scientific dissemination. He underscored the conference’s role in strengthening collaboration and increasing research impact.

“As an annual OREM BRIN conference, ICSEEA 2026 strengthens research–industry–policy synergy and transforms scientific ideas into practical solutions supporting system resilience and clean energy transition,” he said.

Cuk Supriyadi added that the conference is designed to ensure research outcomes move closer to real-world application. He said ICSEEA 2026 encourages joint research agendas, applied cooperation, technology trials, and innovation downstreaming involving industry and policymakers.

The conference is designed with a comprehensive format including plenary and parallel sessions, keynote speeches, industry discussions, and sponsor booths. It also provides networking spaces through gala dinner and sponsor booth visits to strengthen collaboration opportunities.

ICSEEA 2026 will feature four keynote sessions with more than ten speakers. Experts from Belgium, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan are scheduled to participate alongside policymakers from Indonesia’s ministries of Industry, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Transportation.
