Starting from 17th on the grid, the 16‑year‑old from Yogyakarta powered through the pack to claim his first victory in the prestigious junior series.

Ramadhipa revealed that his decisive move came in the final sector of the race, where he anticipated rivals would dive left into the last corner. Spotting an opening on the right, he seized the chance.

“On the last lap, I saw space in the final sector. Before the last corner, the rider ahead moved left, so I thought to take the empty space on the right,” he said in an interview published on the Red Bull Rookies Cup website Monday, April 27, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

By maintaining momentum and avoiding braking, Ramadhipa executed a flawless turn and acceleration, carrying him across the finish line first. “I tried my best to make a perfect maneuver, a perfect lap, and good acceleration to finish. Then I won my first Rookies Cup,” he said.
