RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s teenage rider Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa, better known as Rama, has climbed to second place in the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026 standings following his breakthrough victory at the Estoril Circuit, Portugal, Sunday, June 14.

According to FIM Moto Junior records, the Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior rider now has 51 points, thanks to the 25 points earned from his Estoril triumph. He trails championship leader Giulio Pugliese (CFMoto Aspar Junior) by just seven points, keeping his title hopes alive.

Rama’s victory was not only his first in the Moto3 Junior World Championship but also a historic milestone. At just 16 years old, he became the first Indonesian rider to win in two different MotoJunior competitions--the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the Moto3 Junior World Championship.

His achievement follows the footsteps of Fadillah Arbi Aditama, who won in Barcelona in 2023, making Rama only the second Indonesian to claim a race victory at this level.

Reflecting on the race, Rama admitted the challenge of hot conditions and early difficulties in the opening laps. “I am very happy to take my first win in the Moto3 Junior World Championship. Today’s race was very tough with the heat,” he said, as quoted by Antara.

He added that he briefly lost two positions on the final lap but regained them in the closing sectors to secure the win. “The next race is Jerez, and I will try to maintain this performance there,” he emphasized.

The Estoril result strengthens his campaign, with upcoming challenges at the Red Bull Rookies Cup in Assen, Netherlands (June 26–28), followed by the Moto3 Junior double-header in Jerez, Spain (July 3–5).
