RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Inspired by Indonesia’s women’s rights icon Raden Ajeng Kartini, speed sport climber Rajiah Sallsabillah is using the spirit of equality to challenge stereotypes and push her limits in the male-dominated sport.

Throughout her career, the 27-year-old athlete said she has not experienced direct discrimination. However, she stressed that if it occurs, it should be used as motivation to prove one’s abilities.

The Banten-born athlete also emphasized the importance of equal training programs for male and female athletes, noting that equal portions can accelerate development and build confidence among women.
