RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama finished 14th in the Moto3 practice session for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Texas, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, early morning Jakarta time.
Veda, who rides for Honda, recorded his best lap at 2 minutes 14.484 seconds, falling short of breaking into the leading grid positions, as reported by Antara.
He briefly climbed to second place with 22 minutes and 58 seconds remaining in the session, but was unable to improve his time and was eventually overtaken by rivals posting faster laps.
The session was dominated by Spanish KTM rider Maximo Quiles, who consistently led from the start. Quiles set the fastest lap at 2 minutes 13.757 seconds, marking his best time in a Moto3 practice session.
Honda rider Guido Pini secured second place with a time of 2 minutes 13.929 seconds, while KTM’s Alvaro Carpe finished third after clocking 2 minutes 14.202 seconds.
