RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian cyclist Ayustina Delia Priatna continues to hold the overall lead at the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2026, keeping the coveted yellow jersey firmly on her shoulders after the third stage from Dau Giay to Bao Loc on Friday, March 6, 2026.
The rider from West Java has amassed a total time of 9 hours, 56 minutes, and 23 seconds, maintaining a slim four-second advantage over Singapore Women’s Academy’s Elizabeth Le Min Liau in second place, and a 30-second gap ahead of Norway’s Oda Aune Gissinger in third.
Although Ayustina finished ninth in the 120-kilometer third stage -- 1 minute 55 seconds behind stage winner Gissinger, who clocked 3 hours 23 minutes 24 seconds -- she remains firmly at the top of the general classification.
The Indonesian Cycling Federation (ICF) hailed her performance as historic. “This is an extraordinary achievement for Indonesia’s Road Cycling Team in the history of the Tour. With three stages remaining, we are ready to keep fighting for Indonesia,” ICF stated on its official Instagram account.
Other cyclist, Ida Ayu Manik Laksmi Dewi, placed 14th in Stage 3, two minutes behind the winner, and now sits 13th overall. Andini Putri Anatsya finished 25th in the stage, ranking 23rd overall. Dewika Mulya Sovi crossed the line in 36th place, holding 32nd overall, while Nihayatuzzain Asshofi ended the stage in 63rd position, currently 59th overall.
Despite Ayustina’s individual success, Indonesia slipped to second place in the team classification, overtaken by Norway’s Hitec Products–Fluid Control, which leads with a combined time of 29 hours, 53 minutes, and 12 seconds. ***
