RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The quarterfinals of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 are set to take place in Jakarta on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Eight qualified teams will compete for a place in the semifinals.

Indonesia emerged as the Group A winners with seven points after recording two wins and one draw. That result sets up a meeting between the hosts and Vietnam in the next round.

The Garuda squad is expected to play with confidence, backed by full home support as they chase their first-ever semifinal berth in the tournament. Meanwhile, Vietnam is expected to provide strong resistance, having last reached the semifinals in 2016.

Another quarterfinal will see Iraq face Thailand, the winners of Group B. As runners-up in the 2024 edition, Thailand is certain to pose a tough challenge.

Japan finished top of Group C after defeating Uzbekistan in their final group match. The result sets up a quarterfinal clash between Japan and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, defending champions Iran are targeting a record 14th title with high confidence. A perfect points haul in the group stage has sent Iran into a meeting with Uzbekistan in the next round.

All matches will be held at two venues, the Jakarta International Velodrome and Indonesia Arena. The four winning teams will advance to the next stage.
