KBRN, Jakarta:Indonesia fielded two representatives in the women's doubles category at the prestigious All England 2025 tournament: Apriyani Rahayu/Sutia Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahya Pratiwi.

The women's doubles coach, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari, urged her players to give it their all, playing to their full potential and achieving positive results.

“I hope they can bring out their best performance. As a coaching team, we have set goals and targets, but ultimately, everything depends on their performance," said Nitya in a written statement received by rri.co.id, on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Nitya said All England is the oldest badminton tournament in the world and has a different atmosphere from other tournaments. Moreover, the committee prepared a total prize of USD 1,450,000 or IDR 23.7 billion at an exchange rate of IDR 16,300 per US dollar.

Therefore, Nitya expressed hopes that her players will take advantage of the All England 2025 momentum. She said all players have the same opportunity.

“All England is a unique tournament. The atmosphere is very different, and all have the same opportunity to get the best results. So hopefully they can take this momentum,” said the 2014 Asian Games gold medalist in Incheon, South Korea.

Based on the results of the round of 32 draw, Ana/Tiwi will face the Thai pair Phataimas Muenwong/Laksika Kanlaha. Meanwhile, Apriyani, who is once again paired with Fadia, will take on the Taiwanese duo Hsu Yin-Hui/Lin Jhih-Yun.

For Fadia/Apriyani, the All England marks their second tournament this year, following their participation in the Orleans Masters 2025.

During Apriyani's injury recovery, Fadia teamed up with her junior partner, Lanny Tria Mayasari. Over four months, Fadia/Lanny delivered impressive performances, including a victory at the Indonesia International Challenge 2024 in Surabaya, East Java.

Fadia/Lanny also made history as the first Indonesian women's doubles pair to win the Thailand Masters, clinching the 2025 title by defeating the host team, Phataimas Muenwong/Laksika Kanlaha. ***
