The Ministry of Creative Economy Affirms Commitment to Creative Collaboration

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), Irene Umar, received influencer Daniel Hermansyah and several content creators at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Friday, 20 February 2026.
The meeting discussed strategic collaboration to expand the reach of Indonesian musicians in the global market, particularly through the use of Asian popular culture.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized the Ministry's commitment to opening up creative collaboration opportunities, including providing performance stages for the National Chinese New Year celebrations.
This initiative is expected to provide a platform for Indonesian musical talent to enter the international entertainment industry, including the K-pop market.
Daniel Hermansyah, who is also the Director of Chuseyo Digital, a digital agency specializing in K-pop, said that this meeting was part of an effort to introduce Indonesian overseas-based talents to the national creative ecosystem.
According to a release received by Voice of Indonesia on Saturday, 21 February 2026, the Ministry of Creative Economy views the involvement of digital creators as a crucial element in developing the national creative economy ecosystem.
Cross-border collaboration is expected to expand networks, strengthen promotion, and open up opportunities for collaboration among national creative industry players.
