The series of meetings took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to further strengthen cooperation at both government and community levels in support of regional stability and prosperity.
Previously, Indonesia also carried out defense cooperation with Laos in 2019, when President Prabowo Subianto was serving as Indonesia’s Minister of Defense.
The cooperation included, first, exchanges of visits between defense and military officials. Second, cooperation in the exchange of defense-related information as well as the exchange of views on challenges related to national, regional, and international security.
