RRI.CO.ID, Madinah - The city of the Prophet Muhammad, Madinah Al Munawarah, is preparing to warmly welcome Indonesian Hajj pilgrims who will undertake the sacred Hajj pilgrimage. The first wave of 103,000 pilgrims is set to arrive in Madinah for their initial stay.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has prepared 118 hotels spread across three main areas in Madinah. These designated zones include Syamaliah in the north, Janubiyah in the south, and Gharbiyah in the western part of the city.

Differences in hotel capacities across Madinah create challenges in managing pilgrim accommodation and grouping. Room availability does not always match the size of each flight group (kloter).

As a result, some pilgrims from the same group may be placed in different hotels during their stay. However, the ministry ensures that all pilgrims continue receiving equal service quality without any distinction.

The Head of Accommodation for Madinah Work Department, Zaenal Mutaqin, emphasized that all pilgrims receive standardized services. These services include accommodation, meals, transportation, and organized religious programs throughout their stay.

"All the services we provide to pilgrims are the same. From hotels, meals, transportation, to religious services such as pilgrimages, everything has been standardized," he said.

Zaenal also conveyed that differences in hotel facilities do not affect the consistency of service delivery. He stressed that all pilgrims are treated equally under the established service standards.

The ministry also strives to keep families, married couples, elderly pilgrims, and their companions accommodated together whenever possible. These efforts aim to ensure Indonesian pilgrims can perform their worship in comfort, peace, and devotion in Madinah.
