As regional tensions ripple outward from the border, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that it is maintaining a high-level watch on the security conditions of the Garuda Contingent currently serving under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

The Indonesian administration is actively evaluating the safety of its peacekeeping forces as the theater of war expands.
