RRI.CO.ID, Hamburg – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Hamburg, in collaboration with Indonesisches Islamisches Centrum (IIC) e.V. Hamburg, organized a seminar and workshop titled “Building Personal Resilience and Inner Harmony Abroad” for Indonesians in Northern Germany. The event, held at the KJRI Hamburg Hall on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, aimed to equip members of the Indonesian diaspora with a deeper understanding of the importance of self-healing and emotional management in daily life.

The main session featured dr. Aisah Dahlan, who presented self-healing techniques from both medical and psychological perspectives. The program continued with an interactive workshop themed “Balancing Mind Body Soul Therapy,” led by Laura Fertina and Lita Kadartin, where participants practiced techniques to balance the mind, body, and soul.

In her remarks, Indonesian Consul General in Hamburg Renata Siagian emphasized the importance of resilience for Indonesians living abroad.

“We need to build personal resilience and inner balance so that we can also maintain our physical health. KJRI Hamburg is committed to being present not only in administrative services but also in supporting the overall well-being of Indonesians, including mental and social aspects,” Renata said in a statement received in Jakarta on Sunday.

The event was attended by more than 55 participants from various segments of the Indonesian community and received a positive response. Active participation was evident during the Q&A session, with attendees staying until the end of the event.

One participant, Masruri, said the emotional release methods presented were highly relevant to daily life, particularly the concepts of forgiveness, increased remembrance (istighfar), and the 3M method—recognize, release, and accept.

Meanwhile, another participant, Qonita, highlighted the importance of self-healing in addressing past emotional wounds (inner child issues) and supporting personal growth.

At the end of the event, dr. Aisah Dahlan encouraged Indonesians in Hamburg to maintain unity and strengthen their ties with the Consulate. She expressed hope that the techniques shared could be applied in daily life to address and prevent emotional challenges.

KJRI Hamburg affirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to support the well-being of Indonesians in its jurisdiction, including in mental and social health aspects.
