Indonesian Air Force Officers Earn Master's Degrees from University in USA

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Two Mid-Level Officers of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) successfully earned master's degrees from the National Defense University (NDU), Washington D.C., United States. They completed a strategic education program equivalent to the National Resilience Institute.

In a press release received by RRI VOI on Sunday, June 14, 2026, Colonel Akal Juang completed his education at the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy (ES) and obtained a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy. Meanwhile, Colonel Muhammad Jausan, completed his studies at the College of Information and Cyberspace (CIC) and earned a Master of Science in Strategic Information and Cyberspace Studies.

The graduation ceremony was held at the National Defense University campus, Washington D.C., on Friday, June 13, 2026. The event was led by the President of NDU, Vise Admiral Pete Garvin.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General John Daniel Caine, USAF, who delivered the keynote speech in front of the graduates and invited guests.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States, Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo, and the Defense Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia in Washington D.C., First Marshal TNI Yose Ridha, Yose Ridha along with his wife.

The success of the two TNI AU middle-ranking officers is a proud achievement that also reflects the commitment of the Indonesian Air Force to improve the quality of human resources through strategic education at the international level.

This achievement is expected to build up the contribution of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) in supporting national defense interests. Even, it also broadens strategic insights relevant to global security dynamics, including challenges in defense, information, and cyber domains in the future.
