KBRN, Jakarta: Indonesia is showcasing various flagship products such as coffee, tea, chocolate, healthy biscuits and snacks, processed sorghum, flour, rice, and starch at the Manila Food and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX), held from June 11-15, 2025, in the Philippines.
According to a written statement from the Indonesian Embassy in Manila on Wednesday, the Indonesia Pavilion carries the theme "The Best Coffee and Healthy Food of Indonesia. " The pavilion features 10 companies, including MSMEs from Indonesia, that are seeking prospective business partners in the Philippines.
As the world's fourth-largest coffee producer, Indonesia is leveraging the high coffee consumption in the Philippines and highlighting healthy food options to meet the increasing demand for healthy products in the country, given the health challenges arising from common lifestyle choices.
The Indonesian Embassy in Manila stated that trade relations between Indonesia and the Philippines in the processed food and beverage sector also show strong growth.
"Exports of food and beverages from Indonesia continue to increase, and now rank third as Indonesia’s largest export category to the Philippines," the Embassy said as quoted by antaranews.com.
The Indonesia Pavilion was established to strengthen trade relations, forge new business partnerships, and significantly increase Indonesian exports, especially from MSMEs, to the Philippine market.
