RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, discussed strategic steps in developing integrated digital assets in Indonesia during an audience with the leadership of the International Crypto Exchange (ICEx) Group. The Minister assessed digital assets as a crucial financing alternative for the creative economy ecosystem.

"I see great potential in Web3 technology and exchanges like ICEx to encourage the tokenization of creative economy assets, from music and film to other intellectual property (IP). This will open the door to broader and more modern financing alternatives for our local creators," the Minister stated during the audience held at the Ministry of Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

ICEx Group is a crypto asset exchange operating as a Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) with a focus on crypto asset trading, Real World Assets (RWA), and custodial services. As an SRO, ICEx plays a crucial role in maintaining market integration and ensuring transaction transparency for investors.

"The Ministry of Creative Economy provides two strategic supports for ICEx. First, through the 'Creative by Indonesia' campaign, we are encouraging ICEx to transform from a national champion to a major player at the regional level. Second, we are positioning ICEx as an enabler accelerating the commercialization of local IP through alternative financing innovations such as crowdfunding for creative talent throughout Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, Xue Kai Pang, President Director and Founder of For U AI, emphasized that Indonesia is a strategic market amidst the institutional era of global digital assets worth USD 3.5 trillion with more than 20 million users. Capitalizing on the momentum of the 2025 OJK regulation, ICEx is present as an SRO integrating For U AI technology to develop an artificial intelligence-based economy and tokenize intellectual property (IP) to empower local creators.

The Minister of Creative Economy hopes that the presence of ICEx and its supporting ecosystem will continue to strengthen the public's digital literacy regarding Web3 technology. This commitment is part of the government's efforts to support Indonesian brands and creative talents to be able to compete through cutting-edge technological innovation.
