RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Vice Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Donny Ermawan Taufanto, attended the Golden Swallow Festival 2026 at the Museum Purna Bhakti Pertiwi, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, on Sunday, April 26, 2026). This event was combined with a halal bi halal and the commemoration of Kartini Day.

The festival carried the theme "Empowered Women for a Progressive Indonesia" as quoted by the official website of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. In his speech, Donny, who is also an advisor to the association, expressed appreciation to the Induk Paguyuban Warga Asal Kabupaten Kebumen Wani lan Ulet (IWAKK Walet) Emas.

He noted that the association has made a tangible contribution to supporting the national economy, particularly thru the development of the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. He invites all elements of society to continue being grateful for the nation's safe and peaceful condition amidst the continuously evolving global geopolitical dynamics.

According to him, the stability that Indonesia currently possesses is an important asset for continuing development. Indonesia, blessed with abundant natural resources, he said, must be managed optimally and responsibly.

The management is expected to provide the greatest possible benefits for the welfare of the broader community. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining national unity and integrity amidst diversity.

In addition, he also conveyed the values of diversity must be continuously nurtured as the main foundation in creating national stability while also supporting Indonesia's progress.

"I am confident that with unity and harmony, the economy can be improved, culture can be preserved, thus maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation, for the defense of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which is becoming more rooted," the Vice Minister of Defense stated.
