RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, handed over 500 packages of the Quran and worship supplies from President Prabowo Subianto to the people of Banda Aceh City. The assistance was symbolically handed over after the congregational dawn prayer at the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Tito Karnavian hopes that this religious supply assistance can provide significant spiritual benefits to its recipients. "Hopefully, this will strengthen our faith," Tito stated while giving a brief speech in front of the congregation.

The Minister of Home Affairs' working visit to Aceh aimed to directly inspect the disaster-affected locations in the region. This agenda took place since the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, from Aceh Tamiang Regency to Pidie Jaya.

The Minister of Home Affairs explained that the distributed Qurans are part of a large-scale printing program by the central government. As many as 70,000 copies of the Quran have been prepared to be distributed gradually to the wider community in need.

The distribution of this holy book is prioritized for residents living in areas that are in the recovery phase after a disaster. "The Quran was printed 70 thousand copies, already en route for distribution, and continues to be distributed," Tito said.

Tito expressed high appreciation to the Acehnese people for their hospitality during the series of his work visits. He expressed gratitude to conclude his working visit by worshiping together at the historic mosque, a source of pride for the Acehnese people.

The government hoped this assistance will serve as encouragement for the residents to remain steadfast in their worship during this holy month. He prays that all the people of Aceh are always granted health and safety under the protection of God Almighty.
