RRI.CO.ID, Abu Dhabi - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, continued his series of working visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday, 25 February 2026. The Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft, carrying the President and his entourage, touched down at the Presidential Flight Airport in Abu Dhabi at approximately 6:00 PM local time.

Upon disembarking, President Prabowo was warmly received by a delegation of high-ranking officials. Among those welcoming the Head of State were the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al Mazrouei, and the Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE, Judha Nugraha.

During the welcoming ceremony, it was attended by the UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, Abdulla Salem Obaid Salem AlDaheri, and the Defense Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Brigadier General Tony Aris Setiawan, who greeted the President on the tarmac.

The arrival was marked by a solemn atmosphere, featuring a guard of honor standing in formation along the runway. This welcoming procession signifies the high level of respect accorded by the Government of the United Arab Emirates to the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Following the airport ceremony, President Prabowo and his delegation proceeded directly to their hotel in Abu Dhabi. During this visit, the President’s primary agenda is to hold a high-level meeting with the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

This strategic visit is part of an ongoing effort to bolster the partnership between Indonesia and the UAE. Through the scheduled meetings and cooperation agendas, the already close bilateral ties between the two nations are expected to grow even stronger in the future.

The visit to Abu Dhabi also marks a step forward in Indonesia's active diplomacy in the Middle East. Furthermore, this mission reaffirms President Prabowo's commitment to expanding a mutually beneficial global partnership network for both nations.
