RRI.CO.ID, Denpasar - The Class I Immigration Office (TPI) in Denpasar, Bali, deported a 30-year-old French national, identified as LR, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, after he was found creating and promoting explicit adult content online during his stay on the island.
LR, who entered Bali on July 20, 2026, using an automated visitor visa facility, was flown back to Paris via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The deportation followed public reports that prompted Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement (Inteldakim) officers to trace his digital footprint, where they discovered he was producing, promoting, and selling explicit material on an adult platform.
This marks the third public indecency or morality-related immigration case involving foreign nationals in Badung Regency within a single week, prompting regional authorities to urge the public to utilize official reporting channels to maintain public order.
Immigration directors and regional heads said that digital surveillance and community reporting are vital to upholding public decency standards and enforcing legal compliance among foreign tourists. Head of the Class I Immigration Office TPI Denpasar R. Haryo Sakti detailed the investigation and enforcement process.
"We ensured that every stage was executed according to official procedure until the individual was successfully repatriated to his country of origin, the subject created and promoted content allegedly containing public indecency via an online platform while distributing direct links to sell the material," he said in Denpasar on Thursday, August 27, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration Ramdhani reinforced the commitment to strict law enforcement across the province.
"Every immigration violation will be dealt with decisively in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we perform continuous supervision and enforcement to maintain order and security in Bali, and we support the Denpasar Immigration team in taking firm action against foreign nationals who violate our regulations," Ramdhani added. ***
