RRI.CO.ID, Surabaya - The Directorate General of Immigration, through the Class I Specialized Immigration Office (TPI) in Surabaya, East Java, has successfully deported three Chinese nationals after exposing a systematic network of documentation fraud used to obtain entry visas into Indonesia.

The three foreign nationals, identified by their initials YJ, CN, and LJ, originally entered the country under Pre-Investment Visitor Visas (index C12) and Business Visas (index C1 & C2). However, a comprehensive state audit revealed that the travel permits were secured through extensive manipulation of sponsor profiles and the submission of fraudulent statements.

The deportation order was officially executed on Friday morning, June 19, 2026, through Juanda International Airport in Surabaya. "The three were officially repatriated via Juanda International Airport using China Southern Airlines flight number CZ8138 with the route Surabaya (SUB), Guangzhou (CAN) which departed at 08.00 local time and arrived in Guangzhou at 14.05 local time," said Head of the Special Class I TPI Surabaya Office Agus Winarto in his statement in Jakarta, Friday, June 19, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

The systematic breach was intercepted during routine automated profiling within the national immigration database. Agus Winarto disclosed that a digital red flag appeared due to critical contradictions between the active sponsor entities registered in the state network and the actual physical paperwork submitted by the applicants.

"Discrepancies in the documents began to be sniffed out by the immigration system, which indicated a mismatch between the sponsor registered in the system and the documents used for their visa applications," he revealed.

As field officers initiated a closer analysis of the physical files, they uncovered undeniable evidence of document forgery. Specifically, the visa application dossiers for YJ and CN contained legal tax stamps (meterai) printed with identical serial numbers, a physical impossibility that proved the paperwork had been systematically duplicated and manipulated.

Furthermore, tactical field tracking conducted by intelligence officers confirmed that the trio's stated business and investment plans were entirely a cover. "The three of them never planned to invest or conduct business activities in Indonesia," Agus said.

Under the current legal framework, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has applied dual penalties. In addition to immediate physical expulsion, all three individuals have been placed on a strict blacklist, barring them from re-entering Indonesian territory for the next five years.

The strategic operations at Juanda International Airport were completed safely and smoothly under tight surveillance by Surabaya immigration escorts. Winarto emphasized that the zero-tolerance stance aligns perfectly with national security instructions issued by the Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko, which mandate that border enforcement must act as a strict shield for state sovereignty.

"We will never tolerate foreign nationals who attempt to violate the law in Indonesia," Agus stated.

The successful expulsion serves as a clear warning to transnational travelers and local proxy sponsors attempting to bypass regional visa regulations, highlighting that the country's upgraded digital border networks can successfully detect and block administrative identity fraud. ***
