RRI.CO.ID, Singaraja - The pristine black-sand shores of Lovina Beach are set to host one of North Bali’s most celebrated cultural spectacles, as the Lovina Festival 2026 prepares to launch a five-day showcase highlighting the regency's unique coastal heritage and maritime charm.

Scheduled to run from July 24 to 29, the festival has officially been selected as part of the national Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2026 calendar. Designed as a major highlight for regional tourism, the event features an expansive lineup of traditional and modern attractions, including mini sailboat races, a cross-country run, the traditional Sapi Gerumbungan cattle races, fish consumption campaigns, traditional arts performances, and live music concerts.

To ensure high-quality local offerings, trade authorities have curated 82 premier micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to display North Bali’s culinary and artisanal products throughout the venue, creating an immersive cultural haven for domestic and international travelers alike.

The Buleleng Regional Administration has expressed strong support for the festival, framing it as a crucial driver for balanced economic growth across Bali. Following a final technical preparation meeting in Singaraja, local officials emphasized that cross-agency coordination is fully locked in to guarantee a safe, seamless, and eco-friendly experience.

Head of the Lovina Festival 2026 Organizing Committee, Putu Ayu Reika Nurhaeni, highlighted the local administration's unified commitment to the event's success. "We have asked all regional government agencies to ensure their respective readiness so that the festival runs safely, orderly, and comfortably for tourists," she said, as quoted by Antara.

"This is the final stage of preparation. Let us utilize this opportunity to ensure everything is thoroughly matured so that Lovina Festival 2026 achieves great success," Nuhaeni added.

To support the massive influx of visitors, the Buleleng Transportation Agency, alongside Kalibukbuk and Kaliasem village authorities, has established 10 designated parking hubs. Public order officers, medical personnel, and emergency responders will monitor 14 strategic checkpoints around the clock.

Additionally, local environmental authorities have introduced strict eco-friendly protocols, including thrice-daily site cleanups and mandatory waste management for vendor, to preserve Lovina's delicate coastal environment while reinforcing its status as North Bali's premier eco-cultural destination. ***
