Rider Kiandra Ramadhipa Targets Moto3 Junior Valencia Title After Summer Break

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian rider Kiandra Ramadhipa will seek a strong finish at the Moto3 Junior Valencia at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with the experience expected to further strengthen Indonesia’s presence in international motorcycle racing.

The 16-year-old rider, who is supported by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), will return to the circuit in good physical condition after using the summer break to train and spend time with his family in Indonesia.

"I trained a lot during the summer break, but I also spent a few days with my family. For me, it is important to balance training and rest. Now my energy is fully recharged, and I am ready to face the rest of the season," Kiandra said in an official statement on Friday, September 4, as quoted by Antara.

The Sleman, Yogyakarta-born rider hopes to maintain his positive performance in the remaining races.

Kiandra previously secured a victory in Portugal. He also achieved a notable milestone by winning races in the European Talent Cup (ETC) and Moto3 Junior World Championship within less than a year of beginning his European racing career.

Kiandra currently sits fifth in the standings with 64 points, 30 points behind the championship leader.

"I have completed testing and we gained important data for the next race. Now we have to show that we are still in contention, return to the front group and prove that the season is not over," the rider said.

Circuit Ricardo Tormo presents a particular challenge for Kiandra. His racing experience at the circuit last season will be an important asset as he adapts and competes against local riders who are more familiar with the characteristics of the Valencia track. ***
