RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s Aldila Sutjiadi, partnering with Argentina’s Guido Andreozzi, secured a place in the second round of Wimbledon mixed doubles after a hard‑fought victory over France’s Manuel Guinard and Kristina Mladenovic on Friday, June 3, 2026.

The Indonesia‑Argentina duo battled through three sets, winning 4–6, 6–4, 6–4 in two hours on Court 11 at the All England Club, Antara reported.

After dropping the opening set due to service breaks, Aldila and Andreozzi regrouped with steadier play to claim the second set, then carried their momentum into the decider by breaking early and holding firm until closing out the match.

Wimbledon statistics showed Aldila/Andreozzi struck three aces against four double faults, while their French opponents recorded four aces but eight double faults.

The Indonesian‑Argentine pair converted three of eight break points, compared with two of six for Guinard/Mladenovic. Despite producing fewer winners (four to 13), Aldila/Andreozzi kept errors to a minimum--just six unforced mistakes compared with 16 from their rivals—ultimately edging the total points 102 to 97.

The victory sets up a second‑round clash against eighth seeds Anna Danilina and James Tracy, who defeated Britain’s Emily Appleton and Luke Johnson 7–5, 6–4. ***
