RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian women’s speed climbing team made a strong impression at the World Climbing Series Krakow 2026, with Desak Made Rita, Rajiah Sallsabillah, and Kadek Adi Asih all advancing to the round of 32 on Friday, June 3.

Assistant coach Fitriyani confirmed the trio’s progress after the qualifying stage, Antara reported.

According to results released by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), Desak led the Indonesian contingent by placing fifth overall, clocking her best time at 6.417 seconds. Kadek followed in eighth with 6.512 seconds, while Rajiah secured 12th place with 6.592 seconds.

The Krakow stop drew 62 athletes from around the world. The finals are scheduled for Saturday, July 4.

Indonesia sent seven climbers--four men and three women--to Poland for the July 3–5 competition. Alongside the three female qualifiers, Raharjati Nursamsa, Aditya Tri Syahria, Veddriq Leonardo, and Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi also reached the men’s round of 32.

All seven athletes will compete across the full slate of speed events: individual men’s and women’s, men’s and women’s relays, and mixed relay.

This year’s Krakow Series introduces a new format for individual events, expanding the finals from 16 to 32 qualifiers. Each climber is given four attempts to record their best time, rotating through lanes A, B, C, and D. ***
