RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Jakarta is preparing to welcome one of the largest equestrian events ever staged in Indonesia, as the AEF/MANTENA Cup Jakarta 2026 and the Jakarta Governor Cup 2026 take place at Equinara Horse Sports, Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas (JIEPP), East Jakarta, from June 26–28.

Organized by the Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) and the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), the championships are expected to elevate Indonesia’s equestrian profile on the global stage.

“Through this event, we want to give Indonesian athletes the chance to experience the atmosphere of international competition at home, improve the quality of matches, expand networks with the global equestrian community, and introduce the sport to a wider audience,” chair of the organizing committee, Adinda Yuanita, said in a statement on Friday, June 26, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

The competition will feature participants from 13 countries: Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran, Singapore, Oman, Uzbekistan, Korea, India, and Taiwan.

A highlight will be the FEI CSI1 Borrowed Horse Competition, a format that challenges riders to adapt quickly as they compete using horses provided by the organizers.

Adding to the prestige, FEI-certified officials from nine countries--including Ground Jury Presidents, Course Designers, Stewards, and Veterinary Delegates--will oversee the event, ensuring all matches meet international standards and regulations.

By combining international competition, national athlete development, sport tourism promotion, and strong stakeholder support, the AEF/MANTENA Cup Jakarta 2026 is expected to mark a pivotal moment in advancing Indonesia’s equestrian sport to a higher level. ***
