The Indonesian Aquatics Federation (AI) highlighted the achievement on its official social media, noting the team’s marked improvement compared to previous outings.

In the duet free routine, Amandha Mutiara Putri and Mutiara Nur Azisah scored 138.9518 points, showing stronger technique, synchronization, and artistic expression, Antara reported.

Their choreography also demonstrated greater complexity and harmony with the music, a sharp rise from the 117.6008 points they earned at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

The team free routine featured a new performance titled The Spirit of Phinisi, celebrating Indonesia’s maritime heritage. The routine combined dynamic movements and solid formations to secure 94.0175 points, leaving a strong artistic impression.

Mutiara Nur Azisah also marked her international debut in the solo free routine, performing cleanly without penalties to collect 145.1936 points. Meanwhile, the acrobatic team introduced a fresh concept with Magical Ball, earning 64.9000 points through daring throws and catches that required high precision and teamwork.

AI emphasized that the results reflect the benefits of intensive training and adaptation to the latest international scoring system. The Xi’an event, held May 1–3, also serves as a benchmark for Indonesia’s readiness ahead of the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi‑Nagoya, Japan, this September. ***
