Organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing, the event is scheduled to run from May 8-10, 2026. The athletes departed on Tuesday, May 5, and will compete in two disciplines, speed and lead, at the opening series of the 2026 competition season.
Speed coach Galar Pandu Asmoro emphasized performance consistency. “As coaches, our goal is for athletes to climb at their best without making mistakes,” he said on Tuesday, May 5, as quoted by Antara.
