The Indonesian duo started strong, recovering from an early break to lead 2‑1 before Siegemund and Zvonareva turned the tables at 3‑2. The set remained tight until 5‑5, with Janice and Aldila holding firm to clinch the opener 7‑5.

In the second set, they again showed promise, racing to a 3‑1 lead and maintaining control at 5‑3. But the experienced German‑Russian pair seized momentum, winning four straight games to level the match 7‑5.

The decider came down to a 10‑point tie‑break. Janice and Aldila rallied from 0‑3 to 3‑3 and later drew level at 8‑8, but Siegemund and Zvonareva closed out the match with two clutch points.
