RRI.CO.ID. Jakarta - Indonesia stamped its authority at the BWF World Tour Super 300 Thailand Masters 2026, advancing 12 representatives to the quarterfinals after a strong showing in the round of 16 at Nimibutr Arena, Bangkok, on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

All the Indonesian players who exited in the second round did so after facing fellow compatriots, meaning none were eliminated by opponents from other countries, Antara reported.

The winning streak was capped by mixed doubles pair Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah. Seeded fourth, they overcame Spain’s Ruben Garcia and Lucia Rodriguez in straight games, 21-17, 21-18.

With that result, Indonesia secured three quarterfinal berths each in men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.

In men’s singles, Indonesia will be represented by Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah, Alwi Farhan, and Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo. In men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin, and Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat advanced to the round of eight.

The women’s doubles quarterfinals will feature Indonesian pairs Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Meanwhile, in mixed doubles, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, and Amri/Nita secured their places in the quarterfinals.

Indonesia’s only setbacks in the round of 16 came from internal clashes. In mixed doubles, Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, partnering Singapore’s Hee Yong Kai Terry, fell to Adnan/Indah 17-21, 19-21. Meanwhile, in women’s doubles, Lanny Tria Mayasari/Apriyani Rahayu bowed out after losing to Febriana/Meilysa 11-21, 13-21.
