Latest Cabinet Reshuffle Brings New Officials Under President Prabowo

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a new lineup of ministers, deputy ministers and senior state officials as part of his latest cabinet reshuffle, the seventh since he took office two years ago, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, followed by the reading of Presidential Decree No. 104 P/2026 on the dismissal and appointment of ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024–2029 term.

Retired Army General Dudung Abdurachman was appointed Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, replacing Djamari Chaniago, in a ceremony at the State Palace in Jakarta.

The reshuffle also saw Police Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto appointed as chief of the Indonesian National Police, while Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the outgoing police chief, was named Chief of Presidential Staff.

Other key appointments included Sugiono as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Bahlil Lahadalia as Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition, M. Sarmuji as Minister of Industry, and Arrmanatha Nasir as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Police Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo was appointed head of the National Agrarian Reform Agency.

“I shall be loyal to and uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and shall execute all laws and regulations with the utmost integrity in the service of the nation and the state. In carrying out my official duties, I shall uphold professional ethics and work to the best of my ability with a full sense of responsibility,” Dudung said while taking the oath.

The ceremony continued with the signing of the official records by the newly inaugurated officials and President Prabowo, who later congratulated them on their appointments.

Dudung previously served as Chief of Presidential Staff before moving to the coordinating ministerial post. His former position was subsequently filled by Listyo Sigit.

The inauguration was attended by senior government officials, including the coordinating ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. ***
