RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia's public broadcaster, Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), officially launched a collaboration with technology company PT Hyppe Teknologi Indonesia called "Transwisata Kreator Indonesia" (Indonesia Creator Transformation). The kick-off event took place at RRI's auditorium in Jakarta on Thursday, August 13, 2026, aiming to support education and empowerment for the country's digital creative talent.

President Director of Radio Republik Indonesia I. Hendrasmo said the partnership marks an important step in strengthening Indonesia's digital ecosystem and its information sovereignty. He described the initiative as a way for the national broadcaster to actively shape the country's digital platform landscape rather than simply observe its growth.

Hendrasmo said RRI brings significant assets to the collaboration, including its nationwide network of radio stations and long-standing ties with local communities. He noted the broadcaster's connections extend to younger audiences, aided by newly revived podcast content and its extensive audio archives.

He further said partnering with Hyppe creates an opportunity to combine RRI's institutional reach with the fast-growing digital creator economy. He said building a stronger creative ecosystem is essential to give Indonesian talent room to grow and produce commercially viable work.

Hendrasmo added that digital technology should be harnessed to strengthen the public's creative potential rather than replace it. He argued that collaboration between public broadcasters, digital platforms, and individual creators is a key part of building a national digital ecosystem.

Through the program, RRI and Hyppe aim to give creative talent broader access to training, skill development, and stronger ties to the digital economy. Organizers said the initiative reflects RRI's effort to actively participate in the growth of Indonesia's creative and digital industries.

The collaboration underscores RRI's broader strategy of leveraging its network, platform, and resources to support the national creative economy. The broadcaster said the partnership reflects its evolving role beyond traditional radio, positioning itself as a facilitator for Indonesia's digital-era content creators.
