RRI.CO.ID, Sumedang - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto led the Inauguration Ceremony of the 33rd Class of the Indonesian Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) in Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. At the ceremony, 1,204 graduates of the Applied Bachelor of Government were officially inaugurated, consisting of 728 male and 476 female civil servants.

The Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) is a higher education institution under the country's Ministry of Home Affairs, with the mission to educate and nurture future government officials to serve in the ministry or in local governments. The institute is headquartered in Sumedang and operates seven regional campuses across Indonesia.

Prabowo led the oath-taking of the graduates as a form of their commitment. They promised to carry out their mandate as government officials who uphold integrity, professionalism, and dedication to the nation and state, as the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat said.

"(I swear) That I am ready to sacrifice my body and soul for the interests of the state, nation, and society. That I will faithfully serve, dedicate myself, and be a role model to the people," Prabowo said, followed by graduates.

In his address, President Prabowo congratulated them on their inauguration. Prabowo conveyed to all young civil servants that they had chosen a "noble path" in life: to serve the Indonesian state and its people.

"Today is certainly a special day for you all. On behalf of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of the state, nation, and people of Indonesia, and on my own behalf, I would like to congratulate all the young civil servants who were officially inaugurated today," Prabowo said.

Prabowo stated that the path they chose was not an easy one. Therefore, he urged the graduates to uphold devotion, discipline, and loyalty in carrying out their duties as public servants and to become driving forces for development throughout the country.

"You must be civil servants who are present when the people face difficulties. You must be beacons of hope; you must be pillars of support and leadership for the people," he added.
