RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) continues to strengthen the management of state-owned goods (BMN) to optimize asset utilization while supporting more effective, accountable, and value-added logistics readiness. These efforts became one of the focuses of the Technical Working Meeting on Fixed Assets for the 2026 Fiscal Year, organized by the Air Force Fixed Assets Office at the Air Force Staff and Command School, Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
The Assistant Logistics Chief of Air Staff Rear Marshall TNI Nur Surachman, in a written speech read by the Deputy Assistant Logistics Chief of Air Staff, First Marshall TNI Eko Budiono, affirmed that the management of state assets can no longer be viewed merely as an administrative obligation.
According to him, the management of state assets must be able to provide added value and optimal benefits for both the organization and the country. Therefore, professional human resources who understand regulations and are capable of managing assets in an accountable and productive manner are needed.
"The management of state assets is no longer merely technical and administrative; it must be able to enhance the value and benefits of state assets," Nur Surachman in his speech.
He explained that the Rakernis serves as a forum to align perceptions and synchronize the implementation of state asset management across all TNI AU work units. The activity is also utilized to inventory, reorganize, and optimize the utilization of state assets owned by the TNI AU.
This year's Rakernis carries the theme "Synchronization of the Management of Non-Movable State Property and Optimization of Asset Utilization to Realize a Capable Indonesian Air Force." The theme emphasizes the importance of integrated asset management as part of strengthening the TNI AU organization.
Various strategic materials were discussed in the activity, ranging from the digitalization of BMN assets, the procedures for asset utilization thru rental schemes and utilization cooperation (KSP), evaluation of asset utilization and the use of PNBP funds for land and buildings, to the security and maintenance of assets.
