Hajj Minister Welcomes Musyrif Diny Team, Strengthens Hajj Success

RRI.CO.ID, Tangerang - Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah welcomed the Musyrif Diny team after completing duties during the 1447 H/2026 Hajj season. Minister of Hajj and Umrah Moch. Irfan Yusuf, made the statementat Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

The team consists of Islamic scholars, clerics, and fiqh experts supporting Indonesian pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage. Their presence helps ensure rituals are performed according to Islamic teachings while addressing field challenges.

The Minister said the team plays a strategic role in safeguarding pilgrims' spiritual needs. They provide religious guidance, counseling, and support during various stages of the pilgrimage.

He underscored the importance of involving religious experts in maintaining proper Hajj practices among pilgrims. The following is his statement regarding the role of Musyrif Diny during this year's Hajj.

“We invited clerics, scholars, and religious experts to jointly ensure all Hajj processes and rituals follow Islamic teachings. The presence of Musyrif Diny is an important part of providing religious guidance for pilgrims,” he conveyed.

Musyrif Diny Team Member, KH Fathurrahman, said 30 members were assigned to assist this year's Hajj operations. Besides spiritual guidance, the team also supports Indonesia's Tri Sukses Haji framework during implementation.

He explained that the Manhaj At-Taisir approach is especially relevant for elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities. The approach helps pilgrims perform worship validly, safely, comfortably, and without excessive difficulty.

Meanwhile, Musyrif Diny Team Member, Abdulloh Kafabihi, said the Kaaba symbolizes unity among Muslims worldwide. He stressed that pilgrims should continue promoting peace, brotherhood, and moderation after returning home.

The team and the Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah Management Development are preparing a mabrur Hajj guidebook. The guide aims at encouraging stronger worship values, positive behavior, and social contributions after pilgrimage.
