RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Ministry of Creative Economy is implementing the Creative Acceleration Program (AKTIF) for Music in North Maluku. This program facilitates the production of music videos featuring regional songs for two curated musicians: Alan Darmawan from Ternate and Bams Conoras (President of Tidore).

The Ministry of Creative Economy believes that North Maluku has many local musicians ready to enter the national music industry. Therefore, empowering the creativity of local communities and music communities must receive equal space, support, and opportunities to develop at a global level, in line with the spirit of the creative economy as a new engine of national economic growth starting from the regions.

"The AKTIF Music program demonstrates the Ministry of Creative Economy's commitment to strengthening the regional music ecosystem while simultaneously opening wider access to promotion and distribution for local musicians. Through this facilitation, we hope that works from Ternate, Tidore, and North Maluku can reach a wider audience," Deputy for Media Creativity Cecep Rukendi said on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

The music video production process took place from April 9–23, 2026, and involved a variety of local creative talents in North Maluku. Two music videos will be officially released soon: "Sambunyi Kuku" by Alan Darmawan on Friday, May 29, 2026, and "Hikayat Moloku Kie Raha" by the President of Tidore on Monday, June 1, 2026.

The "Sambunyi Kuku" music video was produced in collaboration with local Ternate talent and the local production house Dodoku. The song explores the theme of romantic relationships, with a visual approach that closely reflects the daily lives of local residents.

Meanwhile, the music video for "Hikayat Moloku Kie Raha," produced by the President of Tidore, is set in the culture and history of North Maluku, specifically the unification of the four great kingdoms of Ternate, Tidore, Jailolo, and Bacan. Its compelling blend of hip hop, modern music, and traditional regional elements will captivate listeners.
