RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s Hajj operations for 1447 H/2026 M continue with a stable departure trend this year. The update was delivered in Jakarta, Sunday, April 26, 2026.

As of April 26, a total of 72 flight groups have departed for Saudi Arabia. The number represents 28,274 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land.

One of the key breakthroughs this year is the expansion of the fast track service program. The program is expected to serve more than 125,000 Indonesian pilgrims this year.

Through this service, Saudi immigration procedures are completed before departure in Indonesia. This allows pilgrims to avoid long queues upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Maria Assegaff, conveyed the benefits of the fast track service. She emphasized improved comfort and efficiency for pilgrims during arrival.

“This fast track service significantly accelerates the arrival process in the Holy Land. Pilgrims can go directly to their hotels without long immigration queues, making it more comfortable, especially for the elderly and vulnerable groups,” she said.

Maria also explained preparations provided for pilgrims at embarkation points before departure. She highlighted efforts to ensure readiness and proper services for all travelers.

“From the embarkation point, we ensure pilgrims receive complete services, including health checks, document distribution, accommodation, and proper meals so they are ready to depart in good condition,” she said.

The Indonesian government continues improving services and coordination for Hajj operations this year. Authorities also urge pilgrims to maintain health and follow guidance for smooth worship.
