RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesia's Ministry of Creative Economy, bolsters its collaboration with the Provaliant Group to encourage the commercialization of local intellectual property (IP). This step is believed to improve the creative ecosystem and create a sustainable economy.

In a press release received by RRI VOI from the Ministry of Creative Economy on Monday, 13 April 2026, Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, affirmed the importance of synergy with various parties to ensure the continued development of creative economy activists' creativity. He said the local IP can grow and provide economic impact for creators.

"We see that what Provaliant Group has done can actually encourage local IP creativity. We are certainly ready to collaborate so that each party can be more productive so that creativity doesn't stop at the launch stage," Teuku conveyed in Jakarta.

Provaliant Group is a company that has been involved in the creative industry for more than 16 years, particularly in IP-based development and management. The company is known as a partner that bridges local and global brands with the Indonesian market and consumers through strategic campaigns, licensed character collaborations, and interactive events.

Meanwhile, Provaliant Group CEO ,Chandra Sugiono, emphasized his commitment to building a local IP ecosystem that is not only creative but also has a strong business model, whether through retail pop-ups or events in shopping malls. One notable IP activation was the Jakarta Toys and Comics Fair at the Kartika Expo Center in early 2026, which was also attended by the Minister of Creative Economy.

Provaliant also outlined its initiative to develop local IP through events such as hiPlay (a local IP festival in malls), which aims to present merchandise and showcase each IP, thereby creating diverse and sustainable revenue streams. Both parties welcomed the initiative and opened up opportunities for further collaboration, including policy support, ecosystem facilitation, and strengthening access to intellectual property-based financing.

This hearing is expected to be the first step in synergy between the government and creative industry players in encouraging local Indonesian IP to compete nationally and globally and become a crucial pillar of creative economic growth.
