RRI.CO.ID, Bekasi City - The Jakarta Search and Rescue Office confirmed that all 13 victims of the Bantargebang Integrated Waste Disposal Site (TPST) landslide have been found. The last victim, identified as Riki, was discovered deceased.

Of the 13 victims, seven were declared dead, and six survived. The deceased are Enda Widayati, Sumine, Dedi Sutrisno, Irwan Supriatin, Jussova Situmorang, Hardiyanto, and Riki. The survivors are Budiman, Johan, Safifudin, Slamet, Ato, and Dofir.

On Monday, March 9, 2026, five victims were found. Ato and Dofir were confirmed safe, while Jussova Situmorang, Hardiyanto, and Riki were confirmed dead.

Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office, Desiana Kartika Bahari, said all victims had been located and the search operation was closed. “Everyone has been found. We have closed the operation tonight,” she said via text message on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

She explained that heavy equipment was deployed during the evacuation process. The search also involved K9 dogs and thermal drones, which were used to detect body heat from the air.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Emergency and Logistics Section of the Bekasi City Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Idham Kholid, said the evacuation process was difficult due to several factors. Trash at the site had turned into mud, while some parts were hard and waterlogged. “We had some difficulty finding the victims who were still missing. The conditions there were difficult,” he said.

Heavy rain further complicated the search, leaving large amounts of water around the site. “The weather also played a role. Yesterday’s rain made the search difficult due to the water,” Idham said.
