Prabowo Affirms National Unity Amid Global Dynamics

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of maintaining national unity and cohesion amid global dynamics that could affect the harmony of Indonesian society.

Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR) Ahmad Muzani said the message was conveyed by the President during a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.

“A special message from the President is that all of us, the Indonesian people, must maintain unity, solidarity, and togetherness, because the current global situation makes it easier for people to think according to their own perspectives, and this has the potential to undermine our harmony, closeness, and solidarity as a nation and as citizens of one homeland,” Muzani said to reporters after the meeting.

Muzani stressed that the various measures taken by the government so far have been based on national interests. He also said that one effort to strengthen communication was carried out through a meeting agenda between the President and national leaders held on Tuesday evening.

According to him, the forum opened a space for dialogue for leaders to convey their views and input related to national development. He added that President Prabowo is working to build a collaborative and inclusive discussion space in state governance.

“In principle, the President is very open to views and ideas from all community leaders and national figures,” Muzani said.

The government believes that strengthening national unity and cohesion is key to facing various global challenges through open leadership, inclusive dialogue, and a commitment to national interests.
