Minister Teuku Riefky Encourages Acehnese to Bolster Creative Economy Ecosystem

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesia’s Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, underscored the importance of Ramadan as a momentum. It is to encourage the strengthening of community-based creative economies, which originate from mosques and Islamic boarding schools.
Through the "Comfortable Ramadan Safari Together" in Aceh, Minister Teuku Riefky is enhancing the relationship between the government and the community as a form of social responsibility.
"Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), today we can gather again in this noble place to celebrate breaking the fast together. God willing, we will continue to collaborate to build the Aceh we love and are proud of," Minister Teuku Riefky stated before breaking the fast at the Darul Huda Bambi Mosque on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
Various activities of the "Comfortable Ramadan Safari Together" in Aceh included gatherings, pilgrimages, visits to takjil (snack-free snacks) markets, breaking the fast together, and gatherings with mosque and Islamic boarding school administrators.
This working visit opened a space for dialogue between the government and the creative economy ecosystem, allowing them to experience the atmosphere of Ramadan and foster collaboration with local communities.
During a short trip to various cities in Aceh, Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky, conveyed the many meaningful and valuable insights he encountered into the people's economy, which contributed to a shared sense of comfort during Ramadan.
He stated that the Ministry of Creative Economy will also continue to focus on developing the talents, skills, and capacities of creative economy activists in the region.
"Currently, the Ministry of Creative Economy is more focused on developing the skills, talents, and abilities of creative industry activists so they can help stimulate community activities within mosques and Islamic boarding schools," Minister Teuku Riefky conveyed.
The Ramadan Safari activities took place solemnly and comfortably. This agenda is expected to coordinate ongoing collaboration between the government, mosque and Islamic boarding school administrators, and the community in strengthening the community-based creative economy ecosystem during Ramadan.
