Indonesian Government Allocates 100 Subsidized Houses for MSMEs

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian government introduced a special subsidized housing quota for MSME players during Harmoni Imlek Nusantara 2026 at Banteng Square, Jakarta on Sunday, 22 February 2026. The policy strengthens inclusive economic empowerment.

Even, it also reflects Indonesia’s support for cultural diversity. Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas of the Republic of Indonesia Maruarar Sirait said the program targets 100 eligible MSME entrepreneurs.

The initiative expands access to decent housing. It links housing policy with small business development.

He explained that selected MSME players will receive subsidized housing support from the Indonesian government. The scheme includes zero down payment and free Land and Building Acquisition Duty (BPHTB). It also provides free Building Approval Permit (PBG) and a fixed five percent interest rate.

He stressed that productive communities must benefit from national housing programs. He said MSMEs are vital pillars of Indonesia’s economy. Housing access, he added, must reach working citizens.

“As Minister of Housing, we are preparing 100 subsidized houses for eligible MSME players, with zero down payment, free BPHTB and PBG, and an interest rate of only five percent. This is so they can benefit from President Prabowo Subianto’s flagship program, ensuring that access to decent housing is truly felt by all citizens,” he said.

He added that MSME participation gives the Lunar New Year celebration direct economic value. The program aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision of equitable growth. It ensures that economic progress is felt across communities.

“This is a very good event because MSMEs are truly involved. It means that the Lunar New Year celebration has a direct impact on the community, especially MSMEs, so they can move up to a higher level. This is in line with President Prabowo’s vision and mission, namely economic growth that is equitable and felt by all Indonesians,” he added.

Meanwhile, Vice Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Irene Umar said the festival promotes cross cultural collaboration. She also serves as Chairperson of Harmoni Imlek Nasional. Each day feature’s themes that reflect Indonesia’s unity in diversity.
