RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Coordinating Ministry for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correction has officially launched its Integrity Zone initiative, aimed at achieving “Corruption-Free Zone” (WBK) and “Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone” (WBBM) status as part of broader bureaucratic reform.
Coordinating Minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra emphasized that the declaration was not merely ceremonial but a genuine commitment to building a professional and honest public service.
The launch was marked by the signing of an Integrity Pact by Minister Yusril, Vice Minister Otto Hasibuan, and other senior officials. “The establishment of the Integrity Zone is not merely a ceremonial activity, but a real commitment from all levels of the bureaucracy,” Minister Yusril said during the event in Jakarta on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, as reported by Antara.
He called on all employees to uphold integrity in their duties and ensure the ministry remains a responsive and authoritative pillar of government.
Minister Yusril stressed that leadership consistency and exemplary conduct are essential foundations for accelerating reform and creating a clean, service-oriented bureaucracy. He noted that strengthening the Integrity Zone is key to building a transparent, accountable, and inclusive public service system.
Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini expressed appreciation for the initiative, saying it aligns with national policy directions. “The launch of the Integrity Zone is part of implementing President Prabowo’s Asta Cita program, particularly in realizing clean, effective governance that prioritizes public service,” Minister Rini said at the event.
Ombudsman Chairman Mokhammad Najih also praised the initiative, describing it as a serious effort to improve service quality and strengthen public trust. He emphasized that integrity must be reflected in transparent, accountable, and fair services.
The Integrity Zone initiative is expected to mark the beginning of sustained change within the ministry, fostering a bureaucratic culture that is faster, more transparent, and better oriented to public needs. ***
