RRI.CO.ID, Bogor - The strengthening of Indonesia’s creative economy is no longer driven solely by ideas, but by spaces that connect entrepreneurs, communities, and markets.

This vision was reflected in the presence of Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya at the Atas Langit Festival in Sentul, West Java, on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Minister Teuku Riefky emphasized that venues like Atas Langit are not just about culinary experiences, but hold the potential to become hubs of creative activity. “Looking ahead, we are ready to collaborate in activating this café for workshops, training, and other creative programs,” he said.

He also praised the initiative behind the festival, organized by Pengusaha Harapan Bangsa (PHB) together with HIPMI, particularly HIPMI Culinary Indonesia (HCI). According to Riefky, Atas Langit Café and Space provides a platform for creative economy players, including those in the gig economy, to innovate and collaborate.

Minister AHY highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration to ensure that local creative products reach beyond domestic markets. “We must take pride in the diversity of local products and culinary creations that are ready to go global,” he remarked.

The festival was designed as a collaborative arena bringing together government, creative communities, sports, creators, and investors, explained Cikhita Virginia Sebayang, Chair of Basnom BPP HIPMI Culinary Indonesia and Chief Marketing Officer of PHB Group.

Around 200 participants from various communities joined the series of activities. Moving forward, Atas Langit Café and Space is projected to evolve into a fully-fledged creative hub. (Diva Rifdah/Sri Wahyuni)
