VP Encourages Young Generation to Create AI-based Solutions

KBRN, Jakarta: Indonesia Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka encourages younger generation to innovate to create artificial intelligence-based solutions that have a broad impact.

VP Gibran conveyed this when receiving representatives of an AI-lovers community at his office in Jakarta, Friday, February 28, 2025. “So, young people are not just consumers of technology,” he said as quoted by rri.co.id, Sunday.

The Vice President said the government will continue to support the development of digital talents through pro-innovation policies, especially for high school and vocational school students to get easy access to learn AI.

“This is an effort to prepare a superior generation that is able to face the challenges ahead,” he said.

VP Gibran emphasized that AI-based innovation is one of the drivers of the nation's progress, especially in accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia. He noted that AI is not only about advanced technology but also serves as a tool to enhance access for the community.
