RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - In a vibrant celebration of female empowerment and automotive passion, Repsol Lubricants Indonesia recently partnered with the Girls Day Out community to host Bentang Cerita: Repsol Ride Story in Bandung, West Java.

The event, which also marked the observance of Kartini Day, sought to highlight the growing influence of women in Indonesia’s motorcycling landscape while promoting safe and sustainable riding practices.

As reported by Antara, the journey saw participants navigate a scenic route from Bandung city to the lush highlands of Rancabali, passing through iconic tea plantations, waterfalls, and local coffee stops.

This Bandung leg follows a series of similar initiatives previously held in Padang, Bali, and Yogyakarta, all aimed at encouraging exploration and showcasing Indonesia’s vast natural tourism potential.

Head of Marketing at Repsol Lubricants, Alejandro Werd Alonso, emphasized that the gathering was designed to do more than just offer a riding experience, but also a platform to strengthen networking within the female automotive sector.

"We see how Indonesian women are now increasingly active in the automotive world, have an awareness of vehicle performance, and are increasingly concerned about their motorcycle maintenance," said Alejandro in an official release received in Jakarta on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Beyond the convoy, the event integrated lifestyle and culture through inspirational discussions, fashion showcases, and musical performances. Central to the program was an educational focus on vehicle longevity.

Alejandro added that the company emphasized the importance of safety and comfort aspects in driving. This includes the use of lubricants that support optimal engine performance for both daily use and long-distance travel.
