RRI.CO.ID, Washington, D.C. - The United States (U.S.) President, Donald Trump, claimed that his country has resolved its conflict with Iran. He even said that the agreement document is nearly complete and can be signed in Europe.
"We just made a great settlement of the war with Iran, and we're going to be subject to the finalization of documents, which should get done over the next few days. Probably have a signing maybe in Europe," he said at a press conference in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Trump said that the documents should be done pretty quickly, and he claimed "a lot of good relationships" can ensue from it. The president also claimed that Iran had agreed that it would no longer possess nuclear weapons.
"And most importantly, we have a deal that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, which was the whole purpose of what we had to go through to get this. So, it's a big, very big thing," he said.
However, a spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, denied such claims. He underscored that Iran has not yet reached final conclusion on the agreement.
"We will be transparent about the text and the entirety of the memorandum of understanding to end the war with the U.S. once we reach a conclusion that serves the interests of the Iranian nation, and that Iran has not reached a final conclusion on the agreement yet," Baghaei said, as quoted by the Fars News Agency website on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Baghaei said that the U.S. position in recent times has been "contradictory", thereby hampering the diplomatic process. He claimed that the U.S. and Israel are "resorting to force and illegal and criminal actions" while negotiating; however, Iran will announce the deal once the conclusion has been reached.
"As soon as a final result is reached, information will be provided," he said. The U.S. forces were reportedly involved in attacks on three Indian tankers attempting to leave the Strait of Hormuz over the past three days, the Iranian government said at least three sailors died, and India has condemned the attack.
"Free and unimpeded navigation and commerce through the international waterways in the region, in keeping with international law, must be restored at the earliest," India's Ministry of External Affairs stated on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Long before, Indonesia emphasized the importance of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of every country. The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for resolving the conflict between the U.S. and Iran through peaceful means.
"The increasing tensions in the Middle East have the potential to disrupt regional stability as well as world peace and security," the ministry stated on its social media in February.
