RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Secretariat General of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) finalized preparations for the support team of the DPR RI 2026 Hajj Supervisory Team. The preparations were discussed in a coordination meeting held to ensure that all supporting aspects of the supervisory duties run optimally.

The meeting focused on the readiness of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as coordination of activity agendas both domestically and overseas. Deputy for Administration at the DPR RI Secretariat General, Rahmad Budiaji, said all support teams were ready to carry out their duties according to the established schedule.

“In terms of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as activity agendas, everything is ready. However, it must be emphasized that this assignment is not intended for performing the Hajj pilgrimage, but to support the duties of the DPR RI Hajj Supervisory Team,” Rahmad said at the Parliamentary Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, as quoted by official statement.

Rahmad reminded all team members to work swiftly and responsively. He said the Hajj pilgrimage is a large-scale undertaking that requires serious handling and rapid coordination.

“Do not regard this as an ordinary activity. Hajj is an extraordinary undertaking that must be handled with a high level of seriousness, as if in a crisis situation, so that all problems can be anticipated and addressed quickly,” he stressed.

He expressed optimism that all elements involved, including Commission VIII, protocol officers, media personnel, health workers, and other supporting units, would be able to work as one solid team in supporting the DPR RI’s supervisory function.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Parliamentary Affairs at the DPR RI Secretariat General, Suprihartini, emphasized the importance of maintaining health, solidarity, and communication during the assignment.

“We hope all team members can carry out their duties as well as possible. Take care of your health, and do not let the support team fall ill. In addition, solidarity and good communication are key,” she said.

Suprihartini also urged all team members to set aside sectoral egos and prioritize collective work. She said the success of support for the DPR RI Hajj Supervisory Team would depend heavily on the ability of all elements to assist one another.

“Do not view duties sectorally. Protocol is not only the responsibility of the protocol team, but a shared responsibility. We are all one team that must support one another,” she concluded.
