The visit marks a pivotal moment in the President’s official state mission to Japan, reinforcing the deep-seated diplomatic bonds between the two nations.
Upon arrival, President Prabowo was personally greeted by Emperor Naruhito before proceeding to the Take-no-ma room for an official photo session. The two heads of state then held a private audience to discuss various strategic issues.
The meeting was characterized by a warm and intimate atmosphere, punctuated by lighthearted personal anecdotes that underscored the close rapport between the two leaders.
In addition to his audience with the Emperor, President Prabowo met with Crown Prince Fumihito, the Emperor's younger brother. This engagement further solidified the friendship between Indonesia and Japan at the highest level of the Imperial family.
